My daughter got this to give to her friend for a birthday present and it was great for that. She was very pleased. I personally thought it was a little big. The heart is an about the size of a quarter. But for a young teen girl she liked it.

the chain tarnishes like most cheap necklace chains do, but the basketball heart is still nice and shiny. It is worth getting a better quality chain for.

My granddaughter who LOVES soccer and plays on a league was so excited to receive this necklace and then decide which best friend to give it to. The pendant looks expensive and the chain is made study with a nice clasp. It comes in a jewelry box with a saying about “Best Friends Forever”. This makes a nice gift!
