The modern shower bases (also referred to as shower receptors, shower trays or shower floors) have a low profile design for a clean polished look. DreamLine shower bases deliver a smart alternative to the time and cost involved with custom tile, with a product that is easy-to-install and an excellent value. Made of attractive high gloss Acrylic/ABS materials, the bases are fiberglass reinforced for durability. Each single threshold shower base comes standard with a slip-resistant textured floor pattern, 3-side integrated tile flanges and an opening ready for a standard compression fitting drain. DreamLine offers a collection of cUPC certified low profile shower bases. These shower trays are cUPC certified, which affirms they are in compliance with applicable American and Canadian codes and standards. NOTE: DreamLine SlimLine Shower Base dimensions are provided for rough opening measurements (against the studs), while DreamLine Shower Door dimensions are for finished opening measurements (finished/tiled walls). BE ADVISED: DreamLine Shower Bases will always be larger (approximately 2 in.) than the corresponding DreamLine Shower Doors. Please, take this information under advisement when ordering your Shower Base and Shower Door separately.

It was the only reasonably quickly buy and received from all resources I know.It is really nice and sturdy shower base, with beautiful shiny finish.It came in perfect condition thanks the perfect packaging protection.The only thing I wish was made more better is bottom of the shower base where drain squeezes the rubber seal (see picture with pencil mark), seat =flat surface for the rubber seal is not large enough and definitely consistent at width dimension. That's why one star was deducted.

I got this after seeing how much work it is to do a drain and all the time and money it takes. So it saved money and have a super sturdy high quality shower floor

With this shower base costing double the price at the local Home Depot (and not available in luxurious black in store) it was a no brainer. It was a perfect fit for the new shower that went in.It's made of a nice thick fiberglass. Next bathroom renovation will be going with the same brand (as we got another stand up shower coming up). Highly recommend.... great price and good quality as welldisregard the dirty picture.....still need to clean from renovation, but you get the idea.

Very high quality. Lends the shower an air of elegance, even though we had to keep the old walls. I lobbied for getting the DreamLine shower walls, too, but lost the battle. The final result is that the shower looks SO much better with the new base. It was a bit of a challenge for my husband to retrofit the old walls to the new base, but it has proved to be well worth the effort.

Well for the cost of this Shower Base I have to give it a 5 Star. I always go with the more expensive brands but it was for my sons Rental Property. The install went fine. The Drain hookup area was well molded and the bottom that seat on the floor had reinforced tubular circles that gave it extra strength.
