I wanted a 'chips are down and the hill is tall' gear for my Lectric Xpedition and this is the one. Works a charm, simple swap.

The FW went on without an issue and with a slight adjustment, shift is accurate. I sprayed it with silicone and let it sit overnight and it is the perfect gearing for my needs.

My only concern is it seems of less quality than what I removed off my e bike. The gears are quite a bit thinner.Huge improvement, night & day difference on my e bike. The 11tooth gear allows me to actually pedal assist above 25 mph and not just ghost pedal. Gained a couple mph on top end!

I read thru many reviews looking for an equivalent FW. Some had noted that the high 11 tooth sprocket is too fragile and if it breaks, the FW is unusable. This is partially correct, but the fragility is especially true if the higher gears are used to start or propel the bike a lower speeds. 11,12,and 13 tooth high gears are really for lighter bikes with riders who know how to use their gears and have developed a higher cadence for those gears. Riders who stay in these high gears tend to wear out the drive train components and their knees.E-bikes are heavier and initially faster then regular bikes. The lower gears of this FW are helpful to assist the motor in climbing or to ride the bike without battery power. The mid gears are good training for legs to practice higher cadence, get exercise and assist the motor; the higher gears allow you to keep up with the motor at higher speeds like from 18-30 mph and not ghost pedal. At 30 mph, I am able to use the 6th gear (13 th) as i have gotten my cadence up with practice.I live in a hilly area, and use & need the full range of my gears on alm ost every rdieWith the above in mind this FW properly used is excellent for an e bike, especially for general daily riding.

Works great on my RadExpand5. Easy to install. I initially got this freewheel due to when I was at top speed I couldn’t engage the gear.. now when I go top speed I can still feel resistance.. even got my bike up to 40km/hr. Also the climbing gear makes easy work of the steepest hills without having to put on full pedal assist.

So I recently purchased a Radexpand 5 folding ebike. Great bike BTW but the gear ratio was horrible. At its top speed of 20 mph you could not peddle fast enough to keep up with it. I also have two Radminis which the peddle ratio was perfect for the size bike. I decided after some research on both of the bikes specs to order this for my Radexpand. Exactly what I needed. It now peddles exactly like the Radmini does. At top speed I can peddle and the gear ratio is much better, I can keep up with the speed of the bike much easier. It did require some derailleur adjustment but that was easy. I took my wheel into a local bike shop and they changed it out for me in like 5 mins for a few bucks. Well worth the money for sure and with the larger gear for easy uphill peddling makes my Ebike much more exciting to ride.

For those reading this, believe what you want but the pictures speak for themselves.I had just installed this, got my derailleur fine tuned and shifting perfectly. Went out on a ride that I've done a million times on an OEM Shimano freewheel. First climb which isn't even that steep, I shifted into the 34T ring took two pedals (while still seated, and on 30 percent assist), and heard a snap and crack, and fell over into the gravel.Don't cheap out on important parts.

What more could you expect for $32? For me this lasted just over a year with about 1400 miles on it through a BBSHD running 1700watts, I rode this thing hard and was pretty horrible about chain maintenance so when I checked my chain for wear, I noticed the cogs were pretty worn down too. I live in a very sandy environment so keeping my chain clean is next to impossible. All in all I am very happy with it, just ordered my second one. I love the extra large 34T cog, I can climb almost any hill with it. Maybe I’ll take better care of this one….no promises though.

It arrived with a notification. I forgot to order the tool with it so I have not put it on the bike yet...it functions properly by hand and seems like a solid unit. I will update when I put it on the bike.

Got the 11-34t. Well made. Impressive features on the 34t sprocket to aid the chain to climb up this big gear. Installed on my Lectric ST 2.0 manufactured May 2021. Used Park Tool to remove old 14-28t. Chain has 118t and is plenty long enough to work with the derailleur. Needed to adjust the derailleur but that was easy to do using a Park Tool instructional video. Now I can pedal and apply torque at 20mph. Also like the 34t for takeoff and climbing. There is also improved spacing of mid-range gears.
