Cheap Cheesey plastic screws and doesn't fit on what's probably one of the most popular angle grinders out there, a Dewalt

Things are a little rougher than they should be.This is a 3d printed jig. They didn't clean out the bolt holes- so you'll have a bit of work getting the (Also 3d printed) bolts to thread. And the bolts are smooth round- so they are hard to grip/handcrank- which really is your only option.Otherwise, it seems to be pretty brilliant- hold your drill bit at a consistent angle to sharpen with your grinder.Do note that you need to size it properly- it clips onto your grinder's guard. The curvature of both pieces need to match- the jig is completely intolerant of being slightly the wrong size. You do still have the guard, right?

This drill bit sharpener guide is 3d printed! I don't mind that at all, however the smallest few bit guides are not usable as the holes are not clear all the way through. I guess I'll try to drill them out!? However, I had also not thought about the fact that smaller bits will likely not do great on this device anyway, as the disc's on my angle grinder are way too coarse for how tiny the bits are. For the larger drill bits though, this should do a decent job to keep the correct angle.

For the low price, this works fine and fast enough. Can't give it 5 stars though as it is not the easiest sharpener to use. The main issue is that the attachment to the grinder doesn't have a reassuring lock-in place, and if you spin it up too fast and aren't paying attention, you could actually over grind the bit into the trash can.

It's garbage. Printed plastic screws that broke the first use and it didn't fit a generic grinder well. No instructions.

The drill sharpener is supposed to fit onto the guard, but for both of my angle grinders, a Hercules and a Skill, the diameter of the slot that is supposed to fit over is too wide and it will not fit. These two grinders are very much mainstream manufacturers, so it is kind of shocking that this product would be so poorly designed.

Really wanted this to work. Even if it only worked a couple times and I got my full bits sharpened I would have been tickled. Took already dull bits or sharp bits and made them worse. I think the angle is wrong. Reread directions thinking it was me but nope. Also doesn’t fit on Ridgid guard well either. Plastic “bolts” broke on first use. Not a big deal as can replace with metal, but doesn’t sit right on grinder and plastic too soft. Melted around where bits get sharpened. Basically can’t even use this as a door stop. Too bad because other similar ones seem to have descent reviews.
