I ordered three seemingly similar items and this was the cheapest and worked better than the most expensive one that was over 3x the price! Solves a specific problem of reducing reflections when shooting through glass, but does it well.

It's a tight fit for sure even though lens is within advertised specs. But it did fit and worked just fine. I bought to use for taking photos through airplane windows of aurora (northern lights). Unfortunately the light show wasn't great but the hood did it's job. Is is flimsy, a bit, but it should be to allow camera to be used at angle to glass and still seal well.

Gets the job done. Not the best or easiest to use but it works.

I got the 50-70mm version for my 55mm lens. But the opening is so small, I could not force my lens in. Sent it back.

It was a struggle to try and put this onto the end of my 50mm lens (physical diameter, 58mm) with a hood that’s supposed to fit up to 65mm. I gave-up in the end. I’d say size-up if you’re over 55mm

Hold well on front of lens and sticks well to the window.

This fits various lenses fairly easily and I did like the ease of moving the hood in and out (expanding and collapsing it) but therein lies the problem. The silicon hood is so thin that at the seams (folds for expanding and collapsing) it is thin enough to easily transmit light through it. This defeated the whole purpose of using the lens hood to block out environmental light to eliminate shadows from glass windows). I tested it at night shooting through the sliding glass door to the back deck and a darkened backyard - with the room light set to normally bright conditions. What I found was that the thinness of the hood's material allowed light to penetrate the seams of the hood and cause severe reflections on the glass even with the hood completely sealed against the window. While I liked all other attributes of this hood (I was testing it against another brand and this one was easier to fit on the lens and easier to manipulate) however, the inability to block out the ambient light was a fatal flaw producing image failures.

I used this while flying out to the west coast so I could take pictures from the plane. It cut the glare and I was able to get some great shots. Just make sure you get the correct size for your lens. I ordered one for my Canon 50mm a nd ended up using it on a Canon 24-105f4. It was way too tight so I cut it a bit for fit.

Some hockey arenas have lights behind you, so when you pan left or right your image maybe ruined by reflections off the glass. This large rubber lens hood, looks totally ridiculous, but has come in handy at one particular arena. Worth having in your kit if you shoot hockey or box lacrosse. And I have warmed up the rubber before stretching it over my zoom lens as one reviewer said his ripped..

The hood worked perfectly in a museum, took plenty of reflection free photos.

This product is perfect for shooting though glass without getting a reflection of you. My only recommendation is to make sure the opening you order matches your lens diameter.

It fits all of my lenses up to and including my Tokina 17-35 f/4.0 with an 82mm lens opening. It is soft and collapses to less than an inch. It's pliable to seal against curved glass with no light leaks and can be folded back/removed when not needed.
