It is quality wire and the ends are as expected, I bought these for a specific part that I deal with at work alot, this way I can pre install the plug on the end of the sensor before I send a guy out to do a job ( because some people struggle with installing pin terminals and this particular part is resistance sensitive. It's easier for my guys to butt connector this to the pigtail that comes raw on the new sensor than installing a pin connector, and now they can also use the other end for testing. The plugs also have letter identification on the ends but they are color coded. My only want is that the pig tail was a couple inches longer, just over 6" from plug to end l, 12" plugged together . Assembly shows .2 ohms resistance but that's what my leads have in them ( so 0 ohms resistance assembled).

For the price, I would rather have the diy crimp set but I guess these would work well for someone that didn't have the right crimpers.

I was expecting a slightly heavier-duty housing, but these connectors are adequately protected from the elements. They have a nice "pop" when they are disconnected, a good sign for being airtight. The wires are a sturdy 16 gauge wire with pre-stripped ends. Overall, these will do the job for my truck wiring.

I feel like I'm constantly doing electrical work on my vehicles, adding fun lights or accessories, so these come in very handy! I've learned over the years that a quick connect is invaluable, especially with some of the cheaper lights that seem to burn our way too quickly. This connector set worked great. It was easy to solder and hook up. The plug is pretty tight to push together, but I think that this means that it has a very good seal!My only real complaint is that they used four colors for eight wires. This means you have to pay more attention when wiring. Pay attention to which red you connected the other end to! The connector has numbers on the base of each plug end, but they're pretty hard to read. Still a great, affordable option for a quick disconnect plug.

When I had a business, I did a lot of low voltage wiring when designing and installing various security systems. Much of that wiring was either outdoors or in damp conditions. I wish I had come across these when I was working on those gigs. This package is essentially 6 sets of male/female plugs. Each piece has 6 inch leads, one red and one black. The ends of the leads have a half inch of the insulation scored for easy removal. The kit also includes shrink wrap to use on whatever you connect to these leads. The male and female heads of the connector fit together snuggly and there are 2 rings of very thin silicone seals that ensure the water proof protection as the connector heads slide together. When the two ends of the connector are fully engaged, there is a snap that firmly locks the two ends together. If you need to make connections in wet areas and 16 gauge wire can handle the load, these are awesome connectors. Highly recommended.

I got these connector kits to help install a few pairs of LED pod lights on a couple vehicles.These turned out perfect for the applications as these are weatherproof and secure. I've already submerged a few in muddy waters and had no issues so far with contaminated connectors. I also don't have much current draw for these installs and didn't need a larger wire. 16 Ga may still be in excess, but that's alright.I used weatherproof butt connectors on these and they crimped & sealed well.
