This thing was exactly what I needed. And came in the elusive threadpitch I couldn't find anywhere else. Super solid and simple engagement mechanism. Much better than the trash one that came on my Lynskey.

Used this through axle for my custom built hard tail and I love the way that the handle is easily movable when you tighten everything down. I ended up purchasing two of these as one of the either helped me crossthread my rear dropouts or the rear dropouts crossthreaded this through axle.

First time using thru-axle...have to see how the alloy threads hold up long term. Don't over-torque it!

Had a hard time finding a replacement for the Axle of the Merida Big 9 Limited. When I was in the US decided to order this and take it back to the Philippines. It fits great and is lighter than the stock axle. The stock axle needed a Hex tool and eventually rounded out, with this DTSwisss I would not have that issue.

The product itself is good quality. However, keep in mind that it won't work with all 12x148 boost rears. The 2021 specialized stumpjumper comes with conical hole at the axle entrance; therefore this thru axle which is flat flanged, cannot be tightened against the frame.I did not realized this until all kinds of shifting problem occurred. It may appear that the axle was tightened but there is actually quite some paly if you squeeze the left and right. Lesson learned.Didn't return this because I was able to use it on another bike without issue.The picture is specialized original axle which has conical design at the head.
