Have been using it for about two weeks now. It heats up fast (compared to the last one I owned) and on its highest setting gets quite warm, almost too warm!!

I used the pad for almost 3 months, after which the heater on one side stopped working.After I contacted the company someone responded immediately asking for more details. And that was the end of their customer service. Weeks went by and no other response.The pad is nothing to write about, it heats evenly. But what good is it if it doesn’t work.Update: After contacting Amazon to ask for help with the manufacturer, Amazon informed me that I should contact the manufacturer and discuss my issue. After I clearly explained that I tried that several times, through Amazon customer service.I wish I could remove even the one star. For those looking into a pad like this, I suggest using your closest big box, at least they stand behind the product if it’s defective.

My bed is super comfortable, with this on it I feel the wires on my bed . First time us isn’t a heading mattress pad and have nothing to compair to but it does the trick :)

Best feature of this is that each side has its own controller. Second best feature is the timer. I like to set it to #6 for one hour, read in bed while I get warmed up (I’m always chilly getting into bed but warm when I wake up), and then fall asleep knowing it will shut off and not cook me the rest of the night. My husband and I would fight about when to turn it on and off if we didn’t each have our own controllers. It takes longer than I expected to warm up. I’d say at least 15 minutes. So “preheat” your bed if you want to get into warm sheets. The highest setting (8) is HOT. Uncomfortably so for me which is saying a lot. But going down just one or two numbers is much more reasonable while still bring plenty warm. I haven’t used the lower settings. I also was glad to find we don’t notice the feeling of any wires under us.

Gets very warm, I usually crank it up an hour before bed and shut off to sleep. Love getting into a toasty bed. The only negative is,it is a bit lumpy so I put a mattress pad over it, this slows the heating process but adds to the comfort.

I got this for winters in Iowa. We like to keep our thermostat around low 60s or high 50s inside in the winter at night, and this is so warm on temp level 2 that I can sleep with only my comforter. My partner likes it warmer, so he sets it to 3-4 and uses two blankets. We are using this as a replacement for our heated blanket (ours broke) for winter.The only downside is that the amount of cord from where it hooks to the cover and the control box is about 2 feet, but you have to put the cord on the top side of the cover, and it has to go under your fitted sheet. It'll make sense when you get it, but effectively, this uses up about a foot of the cord, so your control box will be under a foot away from the bottom of your fitted sheet at all times. This is my only gripe, and it's totally able to be worked with, so 5 stars it is!

This is the best gift I have ever given myself. I work 2 retail jobs. I'm on my feet 12-18 hours a day. I now wake up with zero back and shoulder pain. The temperature is easy to control and quick to respond. I sleep a lot better too.
