It is as close to a 1-1 remake (albeit BB or Pellet) as you are likely to find. I believe that since it is a registered replica, they followed many of the same quality and build requirements as the real thing. It has a great weight to it, and drawing the hammer back never gets old! Very satisfying to play around with.I have yet to acquire some new co2 for it so I can't speak to the accuracy of the pistol, but regardless it has certainly scratched the western itch for me!Only negatives, the grip is plastic - however it does feel good in-hand and is not a big deal for me personally. Other than that, the hammer does not sit flush which is for some reason a consistent trait of other peacemaker bb/pellet pistols as well and thus only gives 3 clicks on the hammer draw rather than 4.Now I just need a holster to get my quickdraw down !

after a few months of use the Co2 cartridge leaks and makes the gun unusable

High quality and handles unreal and is a real stopper in an engagaement situation and especially with exploding pellets. I order more pellet sleeve bullets to fill my gun belt. all whom has seen this pistol and whom as fired it is totally shocked by the weapons power. I HIGHLY RECCOMEND THIS WEAPON IT ALSO IS A LOT OF FUN

It's awesome, it feels like the real thing except for the hand grips, but even that is well made. The only criticism i have is the it is not the most accurate in the world but its a lot of fun to shoot. All in all i love it.

It's great! It has some good heft to it and is slightly lighter than the real thing. I also love the imitation blueing on it.Just be aware that these aren't very powerful. So if you're planning on using them to hit down some metal pellet targets, they either have to be really light or you have to be pretty close. I'd look at getting some of the Sig Air products for them.

Much better quality than expected!I enjoy shooting guns from BB guns to .50 cal. I have a CO2 Airgun only shooting range in my backyard and find this to be an easy and inexpensive way to enjoy target practice. I prefer pellet guns to BB guns due to accuracy issues and this little pellet gun is the best one I own. Good replication piece. I have the same model in a .357 and the pistols are almost identical, almost the same weight, color etc. If you're looking for a good quality, good price, accurate replica which you can just have some fun with and show off this is a good piece to do it with.

If you want an authentic replica of a single action revolver this is it. The workmanship and detail is excellent as well as the engraving. It is all metal except for the grips which dark wood grain with an emblem of the Duke on each grip. Unfortunately the right side of the barrel is completely covered with the warning information which is a given on 99% of airguns these days. Mine is weathered with simulated wood grips. It is a hefty gun and feels good in your hand. Mine is .177 cal. Pellet version and although the box states it is a smooth bore barrel it is in fact rifled. The other downside to this gun is the accuracy. If you want a tack driver forget it. It gets about a 3" group at about 25 ft. and since the sights are fixed mine shoots about 3" high and 2" to the right. However it does appear to be improving after about 100 shots. Loading is a chore but I discovered that I can use my pellet pen from Air Venturi which makes loading very fast. To recap quickly accuracy not great but authenticity perfect. It is a great addition to my old west collection.
