Smart Strip Advanced Paint Remover is easy to use. A product test before you begin will help determine the best dwell time for your project. I tried to use these strips but they stuck to the wood like glue and had to be sanded off making more work. It would be better to use plastic sheets instead. Not worth the money.

Surprised how well this worked. Left on for a couple hours and took off three layers of paint.Hardly any smellUse with the plastic cover application as you don’t want it to dry out

I bought this product to use on our house built in 1935. It has beautiful wood but some of it has-been painted over the years. "Ask This Old House" recommended using this paint stripper as it has no VOCs. No smells and I don't get a migraine from it. When used with the laminated paper, it leaves very little mess. As you can see in my photo, the paint stayed on the paper. You also use water, instead of mineral spirits, to clean up the wood after. You may need to do apply it twice, depending on the layers and type of paint. I really like this stuff. Be sure to test for lead paint before removing old paint.
