Kids love it but the paint has chipped after five minutes of playing. Kinda disappointed.

My son is 12 and absolutely loves this toy. He’s learning lots of trucks for the shortest time he’s had it. Absolutely awesome break from video games.I’m sure there’s lots of others games/toys out there to entertain our kids but this is just one of them. Simple and affordable. ;)

This is the one that got me hooked into the world of kendama, and for the price I do recommend it for a beginner. These make a perfect inexpensive gift or first time kendama. I promise you, if you enjoy challenging yourself in any way, you will absolutely love this.

Nice packaging and design for a gift. Yes, the string came undone on the first day. Fixable but not simple. I just put the string back and tied a larger knot to keep it in place. Hey, it's a toy. If it were supposed to cook eggs I'd be upset with the quality but it makes the kid happy. Also, replacement strings are available. (They should come with one but don't.)
