Purchased my first pair in November of '23. Great out of the box and just recently relegated to lawn duty. Wore them daily except during sandal weather. They still look okay and have developed a squeek but they lasted longer than expected supporting my 235lb frame.I tried on a new pair in the gray nubuck and they didn't feel the same. Less solid. Less supportive. Tried these full grain in gray/blue and I'm back, baby! They feel great right out of the box. Lightweight, but substantial and supportive. If i get another year of daily wear (indoor mostly) I'll be super pleased. I'm sold on Dunham. Wore Keens for years, but ran into a bad pair and made the switch. Give these a try. They really are quality.

One drawback - the dense composition some is slippery on wet wood and rock. Otherwise best construction, greatest comfort, narrow size available. Good boots!

This is my fourth pair of these exact same boots. They are amazing. They are really waterproof and the rubber attached to the suede leather has never come loose nor have any eyelets torn or bent. At 6’4” i am a big guy that gives these boots a run for their money. I have one pair for hiking/walking, another for working in residential indoor construction (non floor marring) and another pair that has rubber stretched cleats on them for walking on icy sidewalks and streets in our wintry environment. My first pair did thousands of km of backpacking through Europe and even then I was still able to gift them to the homeless shelter nearby. BEST BUY EVER!

Super happy with these light weight waterproof hikers. Not perfect, but close enough at the sale price of $85. Not sure I'd pay full pop vs some other options. At this price, I bought two: 10.5 2E and 11 2E. Nice fit for wider feet. Summer socks in the 10.5, winter socks in the 11.Pros are lite weight, durable construction (but not as a work boot), comfort, easy in and out (except for the laces, see below), looks, and all-day waterproof in rain, snow, puddles, wet grass, etc.Cons are average traction knobs and grip (NOT extra sticky as advertised), and FLIMSY LACE HOOKS. The level of traction is OK but unhelpful in snow, ice and wet rocks. The other is just silly and maddening. While the lace eyes are premium cast metal, the hooks are cheap stamped metal and easily bent. Roll around on the ground for work or play and you WILL need to pry them open to get the laces out.Despite the cons, they're my current favorite wet season hikers/walkers!

Dunham boots are great for people with feet and high insteps. They’re not easy to find so it’s great to have them available online

These boots are made of sturdy leather. They feel as though they will last for a long time. I walk on blacktop all day and lately my knees have been getting very sore. I purchased these boots because they are available in a 4E width. They feel just a little wider than most brands, but not a problem as I purchased them for early spring late fall wear and will be using a medium weight wool sock. My feet/knees only feel better when wearing sneakers. They are extremely comfortable. I have a high arch, high instep, 4E toes, with a narrow heel. This is thte first pair of boots/shoes that I have been able to cinch the heel in tight, as most shoes cut in to the top of my foot when cinched down. These boots have a high instep, wide toe box and tight heel area. Usually, my feet are throbbing if I tighten the laces too much, so I am inclined to where my boots loose which when hiking leads to blisters. In the past, blisters have been the better alternative to throbbing feet. We're talking being able to feel my pulse in my knees. I'm using this pair for work and plan to purchase a second pair for hiking this summer. These are a light hiker. They do not have an aggressive tread. I have an old pair of New Balance 1500 series hikers that are more of a light mountaineering boot. Unfortunately they no longer make this boot. I really liked them for summer boulder hopping. I contacted New Balance and this is the best alternative. They are a great boot, just not in the same category as the 1500. I had meniscus surgery last summer and still a little paranoid about my knees, but so far I can wear these boots all day and my knees and feet feel great.

I can't say enough about how much I love these shoes. I purchased them locally after seeing reviews of both these and the New Balance country walkers, because I was worried about sizing issues. I am a very difficult fit with 7.5 4E feet, orthotics, high instep and more. I have never had a pair of walking or cold weather boots that I could wear comfortably for more than a few hours. If it wasn't the rubbing below my little toe, it was irritating my ankle or hurting my instep. I bought these shoes yesterday morning and haven't taken them off yet except, reluctantly, to get in bed. They are incredibly comfortable. The only adjustment I made was substituting a flat white Dr. Scholl's insole for the one provided. I hadn't bought Dunhams in a while because of fit problems. The sizing is right, maybe a drop short, but they quickly started to conform to my foot, after some sole flexing, and feel great. Nice wide foot box. The laces are very adjustable and the ankle height is perfect. They keep my feet nice and warm on these winter days and the bottom looks to be completely waterproof, but no tests to this point. Best of all, these shoes are very good looking, a benefit that usually does not come in my size.Tomorrow, I am throwing out the several pair of my "3 hour max" shoes and boots. These are my new favorites and I am grateful to Dunham for providing me with style, fit and protection all in one shoe.THREE WEEK UPDATE: I have now had these boots for 3 weeks of a bad NY winter. At one point, I wore them for 10 out of 11 days. So here is an update. They are still the most comfortable boots I have ever owned and I love them. Several people have commented on how good looking they are. When does that happen to me? However you should know two things. First, my feet still get cold on the really cold days, but never wet. That's a good thing. Second, is that they still are a bit short, but that hasn't affected my overall comfort. My big toe sometimes touches the top, and I might consider a bigger size that would accommodate thicker socks too. But my fear is that I'll get that wrong size rubbing next to my little toe that I always seem to get when I size up. So, I'm sticking with these and very happy.ONE YEAR UPDATE: As we moved into a new season, I decided to bite the bullet and try a larger size. Good choice. These fit just as well and are a bit longer. I am very happy, and confident that I will have these for several seasons.
