It’s the perfect combination of on/off road traction for me. Have put about 300 miles on it this week and I love it. Rides so much smoother than my previous tires.

hese tires are great as a 50/50 riding experience. My Yamaha XT250 came with Bridgestone tires that were at best 80/20 and more like 90/10. They were great in the dirt, but terrible on the road. Way too much vibration, and easy to slide. The Dunlop's are good in the dirt and much better on the road. Very little vibration and you can immediately tell that the rubber compound is more sticky for road work. I've had the bike leaned over pretty far and never once felt like the bike was going to slide out from under me. I can't comment on how well the tires will wear, but I've got over 500 miles on them with no discernable wear noted.I mounted these myself, and I will say the rear was more difficult than I thought it would be, but the front was like a bicycle tire. If you don't have the tools, you should probably have them mounted professionally. The Bridgestone's were difficult to dismount because they're made out of a very hard rubber. They lasted a long time (6000+ miles), but I would never use them again.Make sure to order new tubes at the same time. Whether you mount them or have it done for you, it's very easy to pinch the tube on these (Yamaha) rims.

Dunlop Tires D605 Rear Dual Sport Tire is not good for off-road riding. This is a street tire but it is not suitable for corners. My tire has 250 miles on it and it started to break down.

I’ve run these and the D606 tires on my KTM 500EXC and like them both. The D605 is definitely the economical option and they have a bit longer life if I’m racking up pavement miles and have a much smoother ride on tarmac. While the 605 is plenty capable off road, the 606 is more of a pure dirt tire that happens to have a DOT stamp and rides as such. Ideally I’d have two wheel sets but since I’ll be doing some commuting this season I opted for the 605 this time.

It's a great value for a great tire. The only reason I gave it a four star for mileage is that I haven't had it on the motorcycle for very long. Dunlop tires are a very good name brand and I haven't ever had any problems from them before.
