When searching for "compatible" or "replacement" products one of the main reasons for the search is to save money while not sacrificing quality. This item does not make the grade. Right out of the package, I needed to wash these pads to eliminate the shedding. Which is not a "major" issue because most pads like this I wash first before using. But the quality of this dust pad is not the same as the name brand pads. it doesn't seem as thick or absorbent. Also, the price of these no-name brand pads are more than the name brand pads. Why? This pad does fit my 18 inch mop but I cannot recommend it due to the issues I've addressed.
