Nice little lights. I use them for looks. Don't give off much light but are a good price and work well. I use them on my hanging basket welcome signs.

These lights have a metal hanging loop on the top, and can be hung from a branch or any near-horizontal peg. They can also be clipped to a cable or string (clip not included). There's also a metal bracket you can screw into a post or fence that the lights can be hung from. The light has a bottom part with clear plastic to keep the light dry, and a black, plastic protector that looks like the wire you see around lanterns. The top part has the light and solar panel. Lightly twist the top off to reveal the power selection switch and battery compartment. The rechargeable battery is included, and there's a plastic tab you have to pull out so the battery will work; the tab is there to keep the battery from discharging during shipping. There's an opaque white plastic covering over the COB light bar to diffuse the light. It also adds to the "flickering flame" effect. The power selection switch has 3 settings: ON, FLAME, and OFF. It's a warm light, so when it's ON, it's a warm dimmer light (not bright white). On FLAME, the COB lights turn on and off in order, so it mimics a candle flickering.Best thing is, it's solar powered, so no extension cords to lay out.

I was absolutely blown away with these considering the price. I love the flame look on these and quality is quite good. They so far stay lit all night. I considered getting another set but I have no more places for them. We've had them a few weeks now and they have gone through a couple of storms no issues

These solar lamps are very nice in appearance and in its purple emitting, flickering or dancing lights. Lovely. Simply lovely. On the other hand and based on my experience with them, they don't stay lit for 12 hours as advertised but for 7-8 hours. These lamps are exposed to the sun all day everyday without anything blocking the solar panel(s) but only get 7-8 hours of lighting, of which is still pretty good for their size and what they do. My preference of lighting time is 12 hours and above. Nontheless, I'm not going to let my preference get in the way of giving these purple flickering lights a good and fair rating. Advertisers were just a little zealous about their product's actual lighting performance. However, not a deal breaker.
