This is a nice clean product and can be installed with the door opening to the left or right. The problem with the installation is that the frame is slightly more than a half inch deep which makes it sit away from the wall if you have a stud behind the dry wall. I just sanded the frame down with a belt sander to make it sit flush.

If you are looking for a light-duty small access hatch this is a great option. It is super light and barely even needs to be held in place while adhesive sets when installed into a ceiling. The door stays shut pretty securely and is removable. After install I feathered in a little joint compound around the edges and didn't even need to paint.

Did what it was supposed to do and it looks pretty good. Better than a hole in the wall and it allows access anytime.
