When ordering this item it was to replace one that I broke. It didn’t fit fixture. Nothing wrong with this item. Returned because it didn’t fit.

Needed to replace a broken glass dome. This fit. The light shines. It looks fine and probably won't break as easily.

Grandkids were having to much fun and somehow it got broken. Received it quickly and it was easy to put up. Very happy with the light cover.

I needed a replacement for a broken globe. This size is very difficult to find for some reason. The title says "Fitter Size 7 1/2 inches" and the description and photo of this show a globe measuring 7 1/2" across the top. It actually measures 7 5/8", which was too large for my ceiling fan, which has a fitter size of 7 5/8". You need the glass to be slightly smaller because you can't force it in. Luckily I do stained glass and had a wet grinder to bring the size down to 7 1/2", which took a lot of time and effort. But just know this will only work with a fitter (fixture opening) size of 7 3/4" or 8". The globe quality and packaging was fine, but it took the seller awhile to get it in the mail, and 12 days to get to me.

Silly me. I didn’t know I could easily purchase a replacement cover for a ceiling light, which shattered over 10-years ago.The cover fits perfectly and was simple to attach to my existing ceiling light.I measured across the width and found it easily on Amazon.I was going to purchase a brand new light fixture and installation, which would have cost me over $300. Minimum.I am so pleased with the replacement cover and thrilled to not have to see bare bulbs, sockets and wires.Worth every cent and more.P.S., I wasn’t able to find the shade/cover anywhere else.
