Got this LED Emergency Driver for a project I wanted to do. I have some LED strip lights where the driver went bad so was going to use these to setup an emergency light for power outages.Did not realize that I also needed an LED driver to hook up with this for it to work.Wiring setup is a little confusing although they supply directions, and specs for its use. I have seen others use this to create an emergency lighting setup so I think I just need to learn some more to be able to finish my project.

I got this to use in a retrofit from fluorescent to LED lights in our church. We have several emergency lights. It takes a while to charge the first time, but it works as expected. My understanding is that this can't be used with LED tube lights that have the LED driver incorporated in the bulbs--they must have an external driver--so make sure it matches your set-up.

Haven't experienced a power outage yet but I did test it and it did work. Nice to have if the power goes out. Good price.

A sealed unit with integrated driver and battery backup. It has a test circuit that can be wired to an accessible location within a short distance of the driver. I'm using this to provide emergency lighting for when there is a power outage to allow safe and easy egress from a basement. Works only with low voltage lighting such as LED strips. Combined with COB lighting strips, can be very effective for pathway lighting in a power-off emergency, or for area or signage lighting too. At 10 watts capacity, a single unit can provide quite a bit of light.
