This table exceeded my expectations on quality and appearance out of the box. The desk and legs are solid wood (box said Acacia wood). The sole assembly was 8 screws (5mm Allen) to attach the legs. If you have a drill with the Allen bit, you can assemble in about 5 min.The table came very well packaged. No damage at all. In fact, it was so well packaged, it took me longer to un box it than it did to assemble.I definitely recommend this table. I will be using it as my home office desk but would look great in a small kitchen or eating area.

From the day I unpacked this table and put it together, it has exceed my expectations 10x.First, it was well protected during shipment, arrived with no issues, and was super simple to assemble. Just 8 bolts (2 per leg) and it was ready for use.Second, it's sturdy. Nothing flimsy about this table, it's solid and I'm sure will stand the test of time.And third, it's gorgeous. I can't stop running my fingers over the top, it's soooo smooth. Pictures simply don't do justice to the beauty of the finish, and that includes the legs too.... which have that same satin smooth finish.By the way, I ended up purchasing 2 chairs from East-West to go with this table, and they are the same incredible quality, heavy, solid, with a gorgeous finish. Highly recommended, table and chairs.

This is my first dining table and I love it! I was worried about its sturdiness since this becomes my art table in my small apartment, but it totally holds up without shaking or creaking thus far. Assembly was very easy too.

Beautiful table-only thing wrong and why I did not give it 5 star is that 2nails are coming through the table-had to lightly tap it down and try to seal the mark
