I bought some lemongrass essential oil 2 years ago, and the oils degraded the original rubber rubber squeeze bulb on the dropper. I learned in one of my chemistry labs that these bulbs can easily be pulled off and replaced since some chemicals cause bulbs to wear out over time.I used one of these droppers as a replacement bulb on a longer, better glass dropper, and it worked perfectly. To do that, you'll have to pull off the old bulb and pop on the new one, but it's pretty easy. Silicone should hold up a lot more because it's less prone to degradation.
