This tour pack looks absolutely amazing but the hardware isn't !! The latch would pop open going down the highway now the latch is broken. I will have to replace the latch and possibly the hinges as well just to be safe

So this is a mixed review.Good: the space is massive. Could easily have 2 full face with lots of room to spare. The seat pad is easy to put on and the rack is ok. Have to drill holes for it so a template would be nice. But no biggie. Was easy install.The bad:One hinge was off on one side. Not sure how that could even happen except for just being lazy? Definitley wasn’t checked before shipping. That was a serious pain to put together cause the screws are tiny along with the nuts.Second major issue was about 5 days after riding around. One of the hinge pins just fell out. How does that even happen?3rd. The lid is extremely flimsy. Probably would recommend against opening in the wind. Could use some bracing.It’s not the cheapest pack and not the most expensive. But Definitley disappointed in the quality and having to repair it twice in a week.

First of all, for the price it is a decent buy. With that being said ! The seat back is literally miserable to install. They have nuts on each end of the seat back that you have to keep adjusting with ZERO room to work with. It comes with the quick release bracket which is nice, BUT it does NOT come with the quick release docking brackets. Now, I guess if your bike was already set for a quick release trunk then it would be a quick hookup. My bike was not set for this option so I am now waiting for more pieces to show up tomorrow ( a week after I received the tour pack ). Solid construction and none of the bad revieve lack of holes exists on my pack. Bolted right to the frame with no issues. The key DOES stay in the lock but I have spoke to Harley who said they can order me a real lock, keyed to my ignition key for $35 so that is exactly what I will be doing next week.

Installed on a 2002 Road King Classic. Considering the cost of an HD tour pack, this is worth it as a cheaper alternative. I ordered it with the mounting bracket, that along with the luggage rack and backrest saves you about a thousand or more if you ordered it from HD. About the only thing I don’t like is that when you unlock it you can’t remove the key, it can only be removed in the locked position. I gotta get all these add ins painted now!

Although this item is listed as an exact fit for my bike it is not. I had to fabricate parts to make it work and the holes do not line up.There are 20 unused holes in the bottom of the trunk and 2 in the lid that allow water to run through the trunk. Holes can be plugged with Body Filler and painted but no plugs are provided.Trunk, once firmly mounted is flimsy and does not close well.The key can not be removed unless the lock is locked, meaning you can't leave it unlocked and only held by the latches for easy access while riding.

Absolute garbage. Plastic thin and flimsy, none of the holes lined up and had to drill. Expect the plast to crack if I hit a big enough bump. Don’t feel comfortable putting anything on the luggage rack because plastic so thin I’m afraid it will crack and rip off. I guess you get what you pay for. Spend the extra money and buy a better one.

Size: 9/10Durability: 1/10Installation: 1/10Comfort: 1/10Installation of the pack onto the bike was easy but installing the seat is a nightmare. Seat quality is terrible. The seat was ripped coming out of the package. and the seat has 0 padding, its basically hard plastic wrapped in saran wrap, with a fake leather coating. Seat mount design is terrible. Rubber bushings were used to hold the bolts instead of using a bolt to mount it as a whole unit. All bushings failed the first trip so the seat kept trying to fall off. Was able to rig it to stay on for the remainder of the trip. Locking mechanism on the tour pack broke within the first 50 miles. The two clips holding the lid shut are cheap plastic and pop open randomly while driving, and with the locking mechanism broke, had risk of stuff falling out. Rack installation requires you to drill your own holes which isn't hard but a template would have been nice. The saying "you get what you pay for" doesn't apply to this or it would only cost $5.00. I will be spending the money on a genuine Harley Pak.

A bit less sturdy than factory tour pac. UPS left the box in the dirt instead of putting it on porch(not the fault of seller)No predrilled holes for the luggage rack nor a template to accurately drill the holes.

The thickness is questionable and the lid rattles due to the bushings, but that’s on the housing bracket.Biggest concern are the latches. I hope they hold up.Luggage rack is great. Only issue is there are no pilot holes in the tour pak. You really need to measure twice before drilling.Take your time.Overall it looks great and functions as it should.I’ll install a felt liner soon
