The only issue I have found on my 1967 283 is getting belts on as the alternator can hit the valve cover.

Wanted to update the looks of the engine, and loose some of the chrome. Still have a little straightening up to do in the engine bay, but it's looking great so far.

Fits my Trans am nicely. I used feel-pro rubber gaskets instead of cork to reuse them. I have a little oil leak so I may have to change to paper or cork. Looks awesome!

These covers look good, and were a direct replacement for the OE covers on my SBC 350. The recommended gaskets are thicker than the stock ones, so you'll need to get some longer bolts if you use those (no biggie). Also recommend picking up some spreaders to go under those bolts. Only things to know - there's no oil fill cap like the stock covers, so you'll need to add oil using the breather opening. Also, if your stock covers have a harness for your plug wires, it won't fit on these without modification.

Pretty nice valve covers, came very fast and bolted up perfectly. Does not come with gaskets but pretty happy with them.

Outstanding product, Edelbrock quality one comes to expect. HOWEVER, the item does not specify that these valve covers ONLY fit pre-1987 350 SBC's. Will NOT fit 1987+ SBC's. That's unfortunate, because these things look great!
