Your cart is empty.The Edelbrock Performer RPM Air-Gap Intake Manifold is manufactured from aluminum and given a natural finish. The exclusive Air-Gap design features an open space between the intake runners and the hot engine oil resulting in a cooler, denser charge and more power. The runners are tuned up to move the power band 1, 000 RPM higher than Performer Air-Gap manifolds, from idle-5, 500 RPM up to 1, 500-6, 500 RPM. It also features nitrous bosses, rear water outlets and two distributor clamp locations.

Best intake manifold I ever had. I can tell the difference in power as soon it was fired up. It's a must to do some gasket matching to the ports, but other than that is a perfect manifold for early SBC.

Tried to install on a 91 camaro with 383 stroker gen 1 block & heads. But stock hood will not clear the air filter so had to return it.

Item came perfectly packaged and was a joy to install. Note to installers: its hard to torque the bolts on the mid section under the carb area. Get a 1/4 inch set to tighten.....you may need some adaptors but its well worth it. Torque to 25 ft lbs. ONLY !!!Oh, one last thing. The surface of the manifold where it meets the head is very slick. Clean the surface with a solvent or alcohol when ready to install. Use Felpro gaskets and a high temp RTV silicon for water jackets.

I was going to buy a take off version of this intake from a different mfg. After reading about some issues with them(fit, quality and finish), I decided it was not worth my time. I have had fitment issues with a take off from another mfg and decided I did not want to go through the hassle in case there was a problem.

Excellent fit to the engine, very lightweight and high quality. If you have a C1 Corvette you are going to have a hard time fitting it under the hood. It will clear the hood by approximately an inch so finding an air cleaner that will fit is desperately tricky. Summit racing makes a 14x3 depending on your carb setup that has a 1.5 inch drop and with some slight tweaking it will fit but only just.

Hello I have bought many things off of Amazon in the past without many problems. However I felt compelled To let anyone know that would listen. Be very careful purchasing from this seller. I bought an elder Brock manifold for my old classic vehicle the part came in a Box that looked like it had been open before . Maybe someone else had it and returned it. I installed it the correct way That it have a horrible vacuum leak coming from where it would seal with the gaskets. I removed it and tried better quality gaskets . Fel pro I started the vehicle up again same horrible high pitch noise clearly coming from where it seats up against the gasket on one side in particular. At this point I tried to contact the seller but all they did was direct me to edelbrock Customer service. I contacted them and the fellow that I spoke with told me that the specialist that new about this was that lunch and that he would call me back shortly well I still have been waiting on that phone call many days later. I decided to take the manifold up to a machine shop and the mechanic there could a straight edge on it and told me that it was not warped but it was a factory defect. And that he could Re surface it. So he did a $100 later it appears to have a new finish on it and I'm waiting for new gaskets to arrive to see if this did what it needed to. I paid almost $300 for this manifold on Amazon and then had to pay another $100 to have it fixed. Horrible do not buy from This seller.
