With over 50 years of manufacturing experience, a commitment to OE form, fit and function, and unparalleled technical support, Edelmann is your best choice for power steering replacement hose and parts. Edelmann OE quality power steering hoses and components are crafted from long-lasting, high-performing materials that ensure durability under the harshest conditions on the road. That commitment to OE form, fit, and function ensures ease of installation, correct hose/tube routing and leak free performance. Hose construction withstands internal oil temperatures of up to 300 degrees Fahrenheit, ensuring component integrity in high-heat, high-stress operating environments. High-tensile strength braided fabric helps Edelmann pressure hoses withstand pulsation pressures up to 1,500 PSI and bursting pressures that exceed 6,000 PSI. Edelmann power steering pressure hose covers are highly resistant to oil, heat and ozone which cause ordinary assemblies to fail prematurely. Flared ferrule ends prevent pinching or cutting of the hose at tight bend locations. Metal tubing is coated with a Zinc-Aluminum Alloy, with an Aluminum-Rich Epoxy topcoat, and the couplings and fittings are zinc-plated for rust and corrosion protection. If required for the specific application, mounting brackets, heat shields and convolute tube sheathing (to protect hose) are included. When replacing a failed hose, whether from leaking, bursting, hardening/brittleness, or sponginess, choose the Edelmann hose for your application to ensure a durable replacement that will give you peace of mind as you travel down the road.

I installed this on my 2005 Honda Pilot, and the fit was perfect. As others have mentioned, this does not come with the bushings on it like the Honda hose. It's significantly cheaper though, and it's not hard to cut the original bushings off and reuse on this one.My only annoyance is that the flare nut on the connection to the rack is 5/8 vs OEM 14mm. Hondas always use metric, and it's obnoxious when aftermarket parts use SAE instead. I had to go out and buy additional SAE tools to install because I only had metric tools (crowfoot attachments and stubby wrenches).Heads up, this repair is absolutely terrible on Pilots and Ridgelines. You can access the connections from underneath on Odysseys, but the subframe is higher on Pilots and Ridgelines. You're blocked unless you lower the subframe. You're instead stuck with reaching way down behind your transmission and engine to fiddle with things you can barely see/reach. If you do not have solid mechanical skills and/or patience, take this one to a shop.

Working just fine. No leaks. Old line was very hard to get out of rack and pinion..

I didn't expect it came with the bushings, but the rubber hose diameter is smaller than OE, the original cutout bushings are too big to fit. Consider how difficult the job is to replace it, get an OEM part even much more expensive, you don't want to do this job again. DIY's be aware, this maybe the job you just want to pay someone to do it, zero space to work with, much harder than a timing belt job, lots of patience and swearing required due to the genius design by Honda engineers.

Little work to get support brackets lined up. nice to have two people, one above and one below to manipulate hose. Start connection to rack by hand. Remove throttle body hose to get room to work.

Item was full of scratches including gouges and rust in the internal threads for the sensor. This would have most likely leaked if I installed. I would recommend a different listing.

The hose was exactly the same as the original. The quality seemed adequate and the price was great. I have used this brand in the past with good results.
