I clean my gutters from above, reaching over. I found that this scoop fit inside the gutters well, but often got hung up on the overhang of my roofing when trying to lift stuff out. It was somewhat easier than using the rubber gloves I usually use as I didn’t have to lean over as much. I also found the scoop had trouble scooping up wet oak leaves – without my using my hand to help keep stuff from falling out as I lifted. I found the leaves that weren’t being scooped were pulling the leaves out of the scoop as I lifted as the leaves are interwoven. Certainly, this product is sturdy. It just wasn’t as helpful as I would have liked cleaning my gutters. I also found the label, which is placed inside the scoop, was impossible to peel away. I’ll have to let it get soaked and fall off, or wear away in use.Overall, while this scoop is certainly a help, there are some issues when using it. But it seems well made and is inexpensive, so if you think it might be of help to you, it’s not a big investment if you want to try it.

I have two massive annoying trees in my back yard. So every year my least favorite activity is getting on the roof to clean the gutters out. Not anymore! With this tool it makes life a lot easier. I can just put this directly into the gutter and it scoops up everything! I just make sure to have a bucket or trash bag ready to go. No issues and also durable, you wont have to buy more than one fearing it will break.

Pretty versatile scoop where not only could you use it for gutters, you could use it for any narrow area in your house. Used it to remove old insulation from house bays and it reached where I needed.
