It seems durable but I have no clue how to wire this thing. It would have been nice to see a wiring diagram online or in the packaging to help us guys that don't normally work with electronics. I looked around but don't know what I am doing. Anyone want to help me out that would be great!

The buttons themselves I thought had microswitches and springs that were too difficult to push rapidly for my use case, but the nice thing about arcade parts is they're swappable. The only downside is a few of them I opened from the box and they had minor scratches on the clear plastic dome, but honestly they'll probably get scratches from use anyway. I was also able to fit a decal inside pretty easily. The light also works and I believe there were a few replacement LEDs in the box, so just be sure to give it the right amount of power and you'll be good to go.

This looks exactly like those large plastic push buttons you place on a desk top or a table and press to get a recorded message or sound. It is not. It is a component to some kind of electronic game that does not function alone and does not rest on a table top. It is shipped in a small box with unassembled parts and no instructions, warranty, receipt or words of any kind. I'm sure it is useful to technicians and those trained in assembly but it is not for ordinary consumers.

Purchased to complete an incomplete set of buttons I'd ordered elsewhere; these buttons come with an incredibly heavy spring, and an incredibly heavy microswitch, it takes a ton of effort to press. Pure gamble on my part however, and can be alleviated by swapping out the microswitch and cutting the spring shorter with snippers, it feels comparable to my other buttons now.It arrived in great condition and looks really good. I was worried the white color would show blemishes but it's near-perfect, aesthetically.

I used this to replicate an arcade controller at home. The target controller uses 100mm buttons, 200g springs, and a photo-sensor switch. This EGStarts 100mm button is a good start at a generic alternative. The button itself is perfectly fine, but the included spring has WAY too much tension. My best guess is that the spring is a 2lb one intended for joysticks. This makes button spamming harder than it needs to be. I found plenty of times where I know I pressed the button, but not far enough to activate the switch. Even 400g springs are a marked improvement over the included springs.Switch replacement is up to you, but keep in mind that you won't be able to drop name-brand lamp assemblies into these. The locking mechanism is different. There are 3rd-party switch alternatives, but hey'll be designed for name brand and may require a rotary tool to shave off half a millimeter or so.All in all, even if you replace the spring and switch, you still end up with a less-expensive alternative.

I use this connected to an Arduino processor and emulate keyboard strokes. I also have connected this in a diy fashion to a keyboard to emulate keystrokes. Perfect for my business.
