It is a good aftermarket EGR pressure feedback sensor and though it does not list the 2001 Ford Escape it does work with the 2001 models that were fitted with a harness adapter. I removed the sensor I have on my car and put back the harness adapter I held onto so I could test this sensor out and have been driving it without a check engine light or a code when I checked with my OBD2 scanner. The first time I experienced the pressure feedback sensor with a check engine light was back in 2004 and the Ford dealer parts person said to me that this sensor is in high demand because the often fail and he told me to hurry in and pick one up before they sell out. Today we are lucky with aftermarket parts because it did fail and Amazon had a replacement I ordered which made me realize that the harness adapter needed to be removed in order to use the new sensor. Now if it fails again I have this new one and you too should get one. Inexpensive and as good as the original.
