I purchased 2 of these corbels for a kitchen project and the both arrive damaged. The damage was isolated to the square edges and flared vertical edges of both. The pics above are the worst of the two.

These turned out very nice once we were able to get them to match our cabinets. I coated them with an ivory spray paint, then several coats of acrylic paint, and finally two coats of matte clear coat.
