Needed a cooktop to replace one with 2 broken burners in a home we just bought. I am planning to remodel the kitchen and will get a range, but needed something in the meantime. This is priced right and fits the bill. Works well enough, but having lived with it for a couple of weeks, I would not get a touch controlled cooktop with the controls center-bottom. I accidentally turn it on/off when wiping the cooktop all the time. otherwise, it works as expected

It's our first flat stove top and so far no issues. It cooks and heats as well as our old Jenn Air did. I've used it now for a couple weeks and use a steel wool (the kind without comet in it) to clean the surface when I have over boils and it's cleaned up just fine. We knew it was going to be a little short for our previous cut out so there is a gap but we are going to get the fixed. But it fit great side to side and works as it should. If I was going to say anything bad about it I would say that I don't like the saying in the bottom right corner. I may try and remove it. It's the brand name I guess. It says 'IsEasy' In big bold lettering.

Wish I had done this sooner! Our old cooktop was rough! It had knobs down the sides that had to be removed and cleaned . Horrible. This thing is a dream! Not only is it beautiful, but it cleans up 10 times easier than our old one. Little bit of soapy water and done. I also love the lock feature. Not only was it affordable, but it was super easy to install. Well packaged too. Can't go wrong on this little gem.

Having the controls in the front center means that you’re burners are clear off to the side. This creates two problems.1. Large burners are so far out that that large pans overhang the stove and can come into contact with things you don’t want hot.2. Moving things off, the heat requires that they move onto the smaller burners on top or across the controls to the other large burner which causes the controls to either turned off or short out.
