I'm HVAC by trade. I'm trying to cut threads on schedule 40 PVC with no luck. The 1/4" rod coupler being used, spins in the plastic die holder. The die will not start a good cut and the result are that plastic is removed but no threads. No directions to say what or if any specific things must be done to make this work. I'm sure the tap will work with somethings added.

This threading tool will save ya a lot of trips to the hardware store . Forget about having to buy additional pipe & fittings when you can turn out your own . Give it a whirl , what ya got to lose . It may not be for all of you folks but for folks on a budget it’s pretty darn good.

I WOULD NOT EVEN GIVE IT A ONE, MAYBE A MINE 5 STARS. NONE OF THE DIES OR PLASTIC HOLDERS FIT ANY PVC PIPE. WHAT A SCAM.
