This overcomes cold feet from sitting at a desk on a very cold floor. Takes a while to warm up and radiate warmth through soles of shoes, but that's to be expected. Reliable, multiple temperature choices and the auto shut off simply works. Seems to have a durable cover on the heating unit and I think should last a long time.

just got this and so far it's Great. I live in an apartment on the first floor and the underground parking garage makes my tile floors icy cold in the winter. I plan on buying a second one. Auto shout off really nice feature along with the foot control. I need glasses so the display is large enough for me to see it clearly.

Works as advertised. Has eliminated the need for a space heater shooting hot air unevenly under my desk. Just keeping the feet warm is enough...who knew?The range of temp settings is ideal. Generally the default (115 deg) is perfect. Occasionally I bump it up temporarily (using the foot operated temp setting button).Overall: well thought out, well designed and good quality (so far). I work out of my home office in our basement and this is turning out to be a lifesaver! Last year, even with proper heating in the room, and a pretty plush carpet, I keept having very cold feet throughout the day - so this is making a real difference in comfort level (and probably good for my circulation!). I will have to see how durable it is, it's only been a few weeks, and I have had things like heating blankets fail on me rather quickly in the past, so I have some healthy sceptiscism, but will check back later to update my review on this aspect.

I bought this for my wife who has a home office in the basement. She was always complaining that her feet were freezing. Not anymore! Works great.

I got this product today and plugged it in under my work station (I work from home in my basement so usually barefooted and hate continuously wearing socks). I figured this would be perfect for my perpetually cold feet without having a space heater running all day. It seems pretty well-made, and the wood grain pattern is nice. It did come folded in thirds but flattened out easy enough just with the weight of my feet on it. All in all, I would like it if it would get just a little hotter but that may be a "me" issue as opposed to the product itself. It's comfortable to use but will need to remember to stand it up at night so my cats don't ruin it. It's sort of a glorified heating pad so the price tag could be a little lower but I still recommend this product with a solid 4 stars.

I bought the Stone Grain and I really love the appearance. It is a pretty stone grain in the center and has extremely nice looking enforced, thick, red patterned border around the edges. It just looks so terrific. I am really happy with it.When it arrived, it was folded into three parts and vacuum sealed. I spent five minutes trying to bend the creases out and then I put some cardboard and weights on top overnight. That mostly got rid of the creases, and I think the creases disappeared with use because of the stiff wires inside heating up. There was this one or two inch area where the wire seems to stick out, creating a bulge, compared to the flat surface of the rest of the mat. But I can't notice it all while it's on the floor under my desk and I would probably have to look a little hard to see it up close. Anyway, the mat is flat for me now, flatter than the images you will see from other reviewers.As for temperature. I'm not using it the same way as other people. I have a wash basin that I use for foot soaks. I put some water and some clove oil in it. Then I put it on the mat to keep it warm. I feel that 145 degrees helps keep the water warm, but it would be awesome if it made it even warmer. So to me, a max temperature of 175 degrees would be a lot nicer. I've used the mat barefoot (no foot soak) and I can definitely feel the warmth. I'm not sure about shoes though because I never wear socks and shoes indoors. You'll have to see what other reviewers said about using it with shoes, and hopefully they wrote honest reviews.UPDATE: I used it all throughout the Winter and it did a good job of keeping the foot soak warm for an hour. I am greedy, so it would have been great if I could have increased the temperature even more, but I am happy with my purchase.

This is a really really great product! I've used it for two winters now and it is absolutely one of the best purchases I've ever made.I work from home since COVID started, and when it first started to get cold I was spending way more on heating than I wanted to. This mat alone has allowed me to save nearly 15% on my heating and electric bills since I can now comfortably set my thermostat 3-4 degrees cooler, and only very occasionally turn on the space heater in my office. It's amazing how much not having cold feet affects your perception of how warm a room is.I've used this for at least 8 hours every cold workday (and some weekends) for two years now, and I have had no problems at all with the quality or safety of the pad itself, even though my cats briefly decided they wanted to use it as a scratching pad.The only thing that isn't perfect about this pad is the rubber cover on the switch is very poorly designed. If you don't put your toe straight down on it when you press it, the switch cover can come off or get bent in a way that makes it difficult/impossible to use. When this has happened I have been able to fairly easily reseat it, so I didn't knock a star off, but be aware that this is a possibility.

I can't find any cons to note about this product. I work from home now during COVID, and my WFH computer is in the basement (and also my personal computer). The basement is finished but has a tile floor, so my feet get quite cold while sitting at my desk all day long--I live in Minnesota where it gets very cold in the winter. When my feet are cold, I'm cold all over. This foot warmer really does the trick! One feature I really love about it is that it automatically shuts off after a few hours, so you don't have to worry about it being left on if you forget to turn it off. Easy to turn on with your foot, and it has several temperature settings. It is very lightweight and portable, so easy to move around. After I ordered the first one and tried it for a month or so, I ordered another one so that I could keep one under each of my computer desks. Great product and reasonably priced.
