This little rice cooker works well, as long as you don't leave the rice in there too long, the rice will not stick to the bottom of the pan. Make sure you use the measuring cup they provide and add adequate of water, the rice will cook beautifully. Very happy with the product!

After nearly 15 years of service, I have decided to retire my cheap Rival rice cooker. I already own an electric pressure cooker, so I wasn't particularly interested in getting a large, expensive rice cooker. I wanted something similar to my old Rival, but with updated packaging and, possibly, updated technology.Enter Ms. Moosum and her lovely powder blue color.At a price of $40 USD (at the time of this posting), the Moosum rice cooker does what it says on the box: cooks rice. And it does a good job, too. Following the instructions, it produced perfectly-cooked jasmine rice. Thanks to the ceramic-coated inner bowl, I had no issues with sticking, and I experienced no scorched rice, either. I also like the shape of the machine itself compared to the Rival, whose shape vaguely resembles an acorn.My only hangups about the Moosum are that there are no rubber or silicone grippers on the bottom, so there is a risk of the machine sliding across your countertop (note: even the old Rival cooker has silicone grips!). Also, I am unsure if this cooker warrants the $40 price tag. A very comparable product would be the ~$20 Aroma brand cooker, but that uses a Teflon-based nonstick inner bowl. Is having the ceramic bowl really worth double the price?Overall, if you want a nice-looking rice cooker that does its job and uses a ceramic-coated bowl, this is one to consider. You're not going to get a Zojirushi level of quality, but your needs will be satisfied.4/5 stars

This little rice cooker works so well and is a snap to clean up. No sticking to the steamer bowl! It's great!

It works wonderfully. Makes it so easy go fo rice and clean up is a breeze. I have to amend my review. Although it did work great and clean up great, but after using it a few times the start/warm button wouldn’t go off warm.

Very basic but gets the job done. Be sure to keep an eye on the rice so it doesn’t overcook.
