The E-Hx Microsynth is a great pedal. If you can't get an interesting sound out of this pedal then you need to worry... it's not the pedal... and Texas Guitar Ranch are Top Notch people... Have bought from... Will buy from again.

I owned the EHX Microsynth years ago and I regret trading it every since. The EHX Microsynth sounds organic and more guitar oriented than any other of the silly computer like cheap sounding Chinese goofy pedals. The EHX Microsynth is no joke. I can dial in millions of different types of synth, wah, filter, fuzz and octave tones. EHX Microsynth is very musical. Very serious. Very high quality. Very sensitive to my guitar playing and responsive to notes far superior to any other imposters. EHX Microsynth nailed it again!!!!!

This Pedal is great. I've had the old ones… recorded a bunch with them as inserts. whacky snare effects etc. This New one sounds great to me and I bypassed the hassle of having to "find" the "perfect" one.

The sounds are great, but there is a cut off point in frequency, so it leaves no sustain.

So many possibilities... I recommend pairing this with a sustain pedal just because at the max setting it cuts off at about 3 seconds..

I read some good things about this product and decided to purchase one.The device arrived intact a few days ago, not a scratch on the package - I opened it myself. To my great disappointment, the unit wouldn't power up, it was dead on arrival. I can confirm that the power supply is functional; I tested it with another pedal.I have done a mail to EHX explaining the situation, hoping that they may be able to point out what I can do to get it running as I really would like to use it, also it is quite expensive to ship these things back and forth, no response in 72 hours.As it is, I am returning it to Amazon for a refund as I am not guaranteed that a replacement will not be dead on arrival. Because of the poor customer support posture from EHX and the cost I am incurring returning the device, I will not be recommending this to anyone - the 1 star rating is meant to reflect my experience.
