Very thin and lightweight, small tassle, not for use with heavier curtains or drapes. Ok for sheers or light cottons. Tried to use it on towels in bathroom, looked too chintzy. Should have returned, but past return window when I got around to using.

Lovely! I didn't even tie mine very tightly or fancy, but it holds itself together very well with its own magnet or whatever. The thickness is like and I love the functionality of this. You could probably use is for anything.

Curtain tiebacks with tassels always seem to add a touch of class to even the plainest curtains or drapes. These Porlau ties are very well made, soft, and elegant. They can be tied in any number of ways--a simple knot, a double knot, or doubled and knotted. Since there are two pairs, they can be used to dress two windows (one each per curtain), or doubled to fit just one window (two tied together per curtain). They can be used with or without curtain holdback hardware.Tiebacks are an easy way to keep curtains in place on a windy day. They are also a good way to adjust lighting options and explore multiple window treatments, since curtains can be closed at the top but pulled open midway by the ties. The gold color is tasteful, a good addition to almost any room of the house, regardless of color scheme.

These "Elegant Curtain Tiebacks...Hand Woven Window Treatment Holdbacks with Tassel, Grey 4pack" from the Porlau Store are a very nice weight and quality make; packaged in a strong ziplock to keep them protected when not in use. The color is a beautiful silvery grey. There are no pulls or snags or unraveling.$9.99 (price at time or order/review) is a very good price for four. Recommended.
