Needed something for my lawn tractor I have 4.6 acres and parts of it bounce my tractor a goo bit plus I have hills etc. Wa easy to find a way to make this fit the tractor . My phone has a pretty fat case well this snapped right in solid. I took it out and purposely hit every chuck hole and hill I could fast as I could. This thing not only stayed rock solid my phone did not even budge in the holder.

Put this on my mountain bike. Needed a phone mount that really grips my phone over rough terrain. I have tried several mounts and this one is by far the toughest and holds the phone the tightest.The part that attaches to the handlebar uses two nuts and bolts that really torque down and hold it in place. There is also a rubber strip inside the bar mount that provides additional friction. Install and removal take a bit longer than other quick release models, but this holds much stronger into the bike.The part that wraps around the phone is spring loaded and holds the phone tightly. There are adjustable side fingers for different phone widths. Every side of the phone is held, ensuring it won't fall out no matter how rough the ride is.It uses a magic arm style adjustment with a ball joint allowing all sorts of angle and height adjustment. You can have the phone sit vertically or horizontally, move it closer or further away. You can also lay it flat for better aero. Adjustments are easy and quick using the large thumb screw on the side.I thought the "damper suspension" was more of a gimmick than anything, but it works surprisingly well to stabilize the phone. This is most useful if you're using the phone to record your ride, it keeps the camera stable so the recording isn't as shaky as it bounces around.This mount is really impressive, it's actually much nicer than mounts costing 2-3X as much! The one and only drawback is it's fairly bulky compared to other mounts. But as long as you have the handlebar space for it, the features and quality are well worth the extra size!

- Nice solid phone mount reasonably well made especially with a $20 price point- Easily adjusts to your phone.- The Ram Mount is very solid- So to put your phone in you push up on the spring loaded arm until the phone goes in. The spring is very strong and holds great. However you must grab your phone really hard to push it into the mount which is hard to do without activating side buttons.

This phone mount is very well built, definitely overkill for my needs, but I appreciate the extra confidence that my phone won’t randomly fall out. The clamp design is great and feels very secure. I also like that they included both plastic and metal washers, the attention to detail is high with this product. That said, I wish they had used a metal ball joint instead of plastic for added durability, a tool-less adjustment for the side clamps would have been a nice touch and a longer U bolt for more mounting location options.. Overall, it seems built to last and does its job well.
