When I saw them the self threading nut looked bigger than it was you had it next to a quarter and it looked as big as a quarter and some of them the one I was looking for had a 9/16 hole in the top for a 9/16 bolt not the ones I got were 9/16 so the picture was deceiving

I used these to attached fender end caps and trim pieces on my 1965 Pontiac. These threaded right on, once I figured out what sizes to use.

These nuts fit an assortment of trim pieces on my 66 Buick Grand Sport. I needed them for hood trim.

replaced my side lights on 2001 corvette with smoked lens The stock nuts were the same as these so I installed the new ones. Did the job.

Used these to replace the old and damaged pal nuts on the bumper rub of a '73 Pontiac Grandville. Many of the old nuts were re-usable. The old nuts were able to with stand a higher torque than these pal nuts. I was originally going all the nuts but as the new ones had a tendency to strip at a relatively low torque they were only used in low priority non strategic locations.
