Like with many Amazon items, the description is not written by knowledgeable people. There was no mention in the description of the “differential” of this unit, the packaging clearly states a 40 degree differential, that makes it useless for my application. I wish that technical items like this thermostat, had descriptions written by people who are in-the-know about their use, also, a drawing, with dimensions, would be helpful. If you are ordering by part number, to replace an existing unit, not much needs to be said, but if you’re buying this for prototyping, or non-standard use, something is left to be desired by the description.
