Not sure why, but these seem to die annually on my furnace. It is an easy replacement, and the part is cheap enough. So I just keep one or two on hand for when I wake up and there is no heat flowing.Build quality and all on these are good. I suspect it is more of an issue w my furnace.

This relay is NOT a 3 pole. It is the ordinary 2 pole DPDT relay but it has a double blade connection at each of the coil connections which makes it 10 pin connector. Description says : Emerson Thermostats White Rodgers 90-340 2 & 3 Pole Relay. It's just a DPDT , not a 3 pole.

Not tested yet. Could saved me a call to repair guys. If you own a heat pump you should have on hand one of each relays and condensers. Because during a heat or cold snap the repair men are very busy. The way to test them is printed on them.

I use this to replace the expensive circuit boards in our train ahu. They work great and I have not had one of these fail yet. I have been using them for 3 plus years now.

Old relay kept getting stuck on and I would come home to a house that was approaching 80 degrees when my thermostat was set at 64, not good. have had this one in for a week, so far no problems, if anything ever happens I will update my review.

Original (2002) Coleman furnace fan relay was making a loud 'snap' when fan came on. Removed all power to furnace at Breaker Panel and turned off all switches (breaker on furnace as well) and verified there was no power with AC voltmeter. While removing the OLD relay, it broke and fell apart...I guess it was time. Anyway, put this new one in and fan works without the relay 'snap' it had before. The heater element contactor/relays still bang but I am working on a solid state relay replacement for those. I judge the quality of this part as excellent (I am retired electronics/IT) and the price with shipping to be a bargain. Why the four stars? Give'm five and they'll raise the price.
