My fireplace quit working and it took me a year to finally figure out what was what with the unit. I contacted the manufacturer on the side of the unit and of course the company that made it, did not install it nor actually made the valve and pilot assembly.after calling the manufacturer several time, I found an email for them and got in touch with someone that was able to provide the amnufacturer of the valve. I contacted them and they were able to provide a part number for the assembly. I ordered it and installed it myself.A good note was that a local fireplace company that I called stated that my unit was old and out of date and probably needs to be replaced. The service call to just look at the fireplace was $350. Then another $1500+ to replace the entire unit. Granted, it would be nice to be able to turn the fireplace on and off via Alexa like the fireplace in my Master bedroom, but having a remote on the mantle is fine.This part allowed me to repair the fireplace in 20 min and a cost of less than $50.Thank you for having an obsolete item on the Amazon site!
