Carbon fiber is a bit of overkill for spacers IMO but I LOVE the look, especially on a budget build. It's always good to have a few extras on hand for swapping on new builds.These are nice and there is a nice range of them in the bag.

Having a set of spacers is a must if you do any work to your own bike. Sooner or later you'll probably want to replace the handlebar riser and need a couple of spacers. In the past I have stopped at the local bike store and had them give me one or two. That requires driving to the shop and then having a guy look at you like "How dare you work on your own bike". Plus you have to get the thickness right or you'll be making a second trip.I'm sure there's some weight savings with carbon fiber over aluminum but they are so light to begin with I can't see it being an issue. They do look cool but they are small enough I doubt anyone will ever look close enough to see the carbon fiber weave. But you'll know.
