The litter box appears well made except for the cover cut-out. The gray plastic protective strip covering the extremely sharp stainless-steel edge on the cover had a gap in the back that I or my cats could cut ourselves on. The strip also comes off easily. I put a piece of duct tape over the gap and a couple pieces on the sides of the strip to keep it from slipping off. My cats seem to like using the new litter box. I didn't think the protective strip defect was worth returning the litterbox for, but for the price, quality control should have caught this.

I had a litter robot that a friend gifted to me, unfortunately it didn't work out too well for me.It would get dirty fast and start to stink up my apartment.So I went back to a standard litter box, however instead of the old plastic bin ones I picked up this all metal box.it looks really clean, is large enough for my cat and is easy to clean up.While there is still some sticking to the walls, it is easy to get off and the box is even easier to clean.

Love the size of this litter box! The scoop is okay (not my favorite). I have a smaller cat who tends to kick the litter around aggressively after doing his business and I’ve barely seen any litter tracking since investing in this litter box! It also has helped minimize odors.

It seems that cats have a knack for making messes outside just about any litter box, and my cats are no exception. Even with one that was fully enclosed, I had issues. This is the first litter box without any issues...so far. It is long enough that they have plenty of space to get in, move around, and find their corners while still doing their business INSIDE the box. The lid is high enough that, even when they aim high, they hit the inside of the lid and don't spray outside the box. And, all of their scratching and tossing of litter has, so far, stayed inside.The metal construction makes it very easy to clean. The latches are secure, ensuring that there is no ability for the cats to make messes through the cracks (as we've had them do with other boxes). And, XL litter bags fit this box easily, with the lid holding down the edges so that the cats cannot pull the bag loose no matter how much they sratch and pull.It's definitely big, so if space is an issue, this is not the box you want. But, for us, it's been a great help to keeping our litter space much cleaner.
