I have purchased two of these. I will start with what I love: its battery operated, the wall mount switch, color of the light is perfect. What I hate: both lights didn't work well very long. The first one started flickering but it stops. the second one starts strobing and will not stop! Really sad because they are the perfect light for where I had them

Love it!!. Tools needed: level, pencil, drill, and possibly step ladder. Also, (D) batteries. 4. I haven't used a D battery in years, so I had to purchase an 8-pack ( here on Amazon). I have a dead spot between my basement door and the kitchen. Also, when I turn on the kitchen lights, it almost lights up the entire upstairs, sometimes waking other people. I have cerebral palsy, so being able to see everything around me is very important. My friend is a carpenter; from the time he walked in the door when he left, it was a 10-minute install. Be aware the 4 batteries double the weight. I believe the batteries weigh the same as the light, if not more. Sorry for the long review, but I wanted to give you all the information I could.

Really love this light and the wall switch. It was super easy to install. My only issue with it is: it's not as bright as I would have liked.

I live in an apartment with one of the most annoying features: no lights in the bedrooms. This is so easy to install. A couple of screws to attach the base to the ceiling, the sticky adhesive to attach the switch by the door and it’s set to go. It does go through batteries quickly if left on for hours at a time, but a set of rechargeable batteries with a cord plug in fixes that completely. The only downside is that both of my bedrooms are beside each other causing one light switch to control both lights at the same time. But if you need something apartment/rental approved that doesn’t cause damage, this is a game changerz

The product was excellent, operating remotely, the brightness of LED till I bought the second one. The switch was not able to pair the LED light. When I turn on the first one, the second one also turn on......

Its a huge closet with one bulb in the middle and two unmoveable racks on either side. WHO designed this??? Seriously. Have relied on running extension cords to two floor lamps so I can see what is on the racks which made me very uncomfortable running electrical cords with a hot bulb that could be accidentally left on. When one of the table lamps failed, researching the price of a replacement floor lamp, I woke up and decided to see about a stick on/screw on battery operated light. I landed on this because it has batteries, doesn't need to be charged, even has wall switch AND is very bright. Installed it by myself with zero effort and am so thrilled with the bright light, being able to see to both racks on one side that I am ordering another today for the other side!!

I will confess, when I bought this I didn't pay attention to what kind of batteries it uses ( C cell batteries). Most lights I buy I try to aim for the kinds that take AA.So yeah, C cell batteries. But it does help in my closet, the sensor works fine. It lights right up. It gives a decent bright light.I haven't decided if it's worth buying another even though I do need to light up another closet. But so far, I have been pleased. It works well and I expect the batteries to last a good long while.

It’s about time I can see the stuff in my closet. Motion activated so it’s only on when I reach into closer. Love it! Better and brighter than those cheaper light disks.

Two screws in the wall and I have hands free light in my laundry room whenever I open the door. No longer necessary to look for and flip a switch every time I walk into the dark laundry room. This Little light activates my open the laundry door! Of course it will not replace your hard-wired overhead light fixture but a lot of times a quick low light is all that's needed to get job done. It's nice to know I'm not wasting unnecessary wattage for a short visits to the laundry room. I love it! The burst of light last about 90 seconds. The device is LED so the four C batteries (Not included) should last a really long time. It's an excellentlight and motionn sensitive LED light which will not waste your batteries once the room brightens with natural or full- fixture lighting. I definitely will buy more. It's not absolutly necessary to mount it as it's completely functional as a free-standing device. I'm getting exactly what I needed out of it. I think the price point is perfect and don't consider this an expensive item for what it does. I have other plug in light-motion sensor night lights which I also enjoy but I was really tired of grabbing for the light switch in my dark laundry room and this completely and happily solved my problem. I mounted it next to the switch breaker box which is in my laundry room. Perfect for dark rooms when a burst of low light is all you need. I don't enjoy groping for the wall switch. I'm thinking of the TV room, any closet, attic entrance, dark stairwells and garage. Because it's also light-sensitive it won't actvate (waste) battery power in a lightened room. This little gizmo is well-built, easy to install and does exactly what it says it's going to do. Funny that something so simple has such a powerful positive impact on day to day activity. I only bought one as I wasn't sure if it would be helpful but I plan to buy several more. If this is what you looking for I strongly recommend this item.
