I make small kaleidoscope necklaces on ball chain. I used to wire wrap the ends to attach a clasp before I found these great little end caps which I can fold down over the end of the ball chain and crimp it gently. They work well for the job.

I like how easy they are to close. They are very well designed. The fact that you can use regular jewelry clasps, instead of the standard connectors, makes the items look much more appealing.

Any kind of weight on these pulls the ball right out, but I love being able to use these with ball chain. I just glue them closed.

It works okay but when you pull down on it, it slips off the ball chain. It needs a clipping mechanism so it doesn’t come off.

We used these for a chain pull charms. We tried it without glue, and honestly I don't think it would hold even a necklace or bracelet that way. It easily bent open again with very little force. We then tried it on with a bit of E6000 before clamping together. Now they hold nicely and look great. It can withstand some pretty hard pulls on just the charm. It really does need some glue to get it to stay on, but it's great once you do that.
