I messed up the first nozzle trying to attach it to my J-B Weld epoxy dispenser. Since I had not used a mixing nozzle before, I butchered the two nozzle inserts that fit into the dispenser, not realizing that you must press the nozzle inserts into the dispenser holes firmly before trying to twist the nozzle locking cap.Even then, I'm not sure I did it correctly because the nozzle's locking cap leaked a bit as I was dispensing the epoxy. Since the nozzles are translucent, I found it impossible to determine whether both sides of the epoxy were being dispensed or if they were dispensed (and mixed) at the same rate. Turns out that they were not mixed evenly as the epoxy was still soft and sticky after 12 hours.Clear nozzles would have provided a much better visual aid.Someone who has experience with mixing nozzles may have more luck than I did, but this describes my experience.
