I loved my bareback pad, but hated the cheap girth that came with it. I decided to try this upgrade and couldn’t be more pleased. It is very well made and thicker and better made than expected. I was also pleasantly surprised that my bareback pad did not slip and slide back like it normally did with the original girth. I was also unsure if it would allow my bareback pad to slip, but that hasn’t been the issue. We rode for 4 hours and I was off and on several times and never had to readjust it. Originally I was very unsure and almost didn’t use it because I didn’t feel it was tight enough. It ended up working great and I feel like it was more comfortable for my horse too. I am pleasantly surprised and love that it’s so well made and so very easy to clean. It was a huge upgrade!

My horse loves this girth! She seems to find it very comfortable. I love that it's easy to clean and looks almost like leather from afar/ in pictures. It's such a great value and I expect it will last a long while with the high quality synthetic materials.

Pros: This girth is flexible, without being stretchy, and the material has a bit of natural grip without being sticky or pulling at fur. It is true to size and seems sturdy.Cons: The listing advertises "Fully bound edges", which is true, but the binding is sewn over top of the rest of the girth, which leaves a little lip of material loose. I don't like this for two reasons, first because dirt inevitably accumulates under the lip and is difficult to get out, and second because it's just not as smooth and I always worry more about it causing rubs or discomfort. This is a common design I see with synthetic girths, so not unique to this brand, but it's an annoying feature I wish I saw less often.Overall: An affordable option for everyday use, but not as smooth edged as claimed and not. the easiest to clean.
