This is the second shower seat/chair I have ordered (I have wanted one for a while) and the first product I ordered (different brand) came missing vital parts, so to start off with this vendor has won my praise for simply having everything I needed!Pros:Went together in 15 minutes, it was super easy to assemble.I liked that the screws had extra large knobs on them. The instructions were mostly clear. See my “cons for one suggestion.Comfortable.The legs extend for taller people like me but that doesn’t extend the footprint of the stood outward too much, it still fits inside my narrow older tub. I think it would work either way (see pics).Because it has no back to it I can store it on the top step of my “bathtub staircase” when not in use (see pics) and everything is nicely out of the way - but still in the bathroom. Most people won’t need a back.At first I wasn’t sure I’d like not having a back but after sitting on it in the shower I’ve decided having a back is overrated, the back makes it heavier and more difficult to move, and even gets in the way. This seat is plenty sturdy!Cons:The only con I see is that the illustrations in the instructions are so small when it comes to illustrating which way to orient the “wave washer” under the screw that it is challenging to determine which way they want it. At first I put one in with the wave fitting down into the large groove but decided that wasn’t correct and switched it. Still not sure if I have it right but it seems sturdy. So my suggestion is to explain this better using larger clearer illustrations. Most of us ordering this chair have some vision issues!

I have been wanting a shower chair for awhile. This one seems perfect, so far.The instructions are easy to follow, so I had it assembled in short order. The only issue for me was tightening the knobs as I do not have the best hand strength. I improvised by using a pair of vise grips, being careful not to apply them too tightly. Then I adjusted the height so I would not have to bend down to far to sit. Basically, I have it where my knees are at a 90 degree angle with my feet flat on the floor.Once it was assembled, I was ready to hit the shower. I have a tub, not a stall, so I was a bit worried about it fitting. But it fit perfectly. Using it will take some getting used to, as you can't simply turn to wet/rinse the opposite side of your body. I had my back facing the spigot, so wetting/rinsing my face and front basically required standing up. It was awesome washing my legs and feet. I never worried once about falling when seated in the chair. My next project will be lowering my shower head so I can use the hand held sprayer to wet/rinse my front. That way I won't have to stand up.

Probably the sturdiest bench of its type that I've reviewed. I ordered this bench for use in my shower/tub combo but I've decided to use it in my workshop due to its design and stability. Working in my shop I frequently find myself having to bend over when working on various items. This bench can be adjusted to be quite low to the ground or up about an additional five inches. At its lowest it's only about 15" off the ground which lets me lean forward enough that I can almost touch the ground without having to bend quite so much. I weigh-in at about 22 pounds and the bench is sturdy enough that I don't have to concern myself with fear of the bench collapsing. The bench is comfortable and its "H" configuration allows me to bend without having to worry about damaging some sensitive areas. The nonslip feet are great since my shop floor is a glossing cement finish and the feet don't let it slide out from underneath me when I'm working. I'm sure it would also be great for bathroom use but it shouldn't be limited to that use alone.
