This espresso cup set with saucers is so elegant and beautiful. The cups and saucers are both made from such a beautiful and durable material. The gold on the edges adds to the elegance. Very lightweight and perfect size for espressos and feels great. Very happy with this set.

When I opened the box and pulled out these cups and saucers, I was impressed by how pretty and interesting they are. They look vintage and make a drink feel special. I love that there are three different designs. I also appreciate that the bands of gold are a lovely tone that suggests luxury.The reason I took off one star is because the gold doesn't go up to the corner where the handle meets the cup in two spots (see photos). It's not a deal breaker, but it does look like a mistake. It's the same on every cup in the box. I checked the product photos and they look the same. Apparently this isn't a defect, but how they were made. I know it won't bother some people, but I notice details and it bugs me. Just a heads up if you're a detail person.I took off another star because none of the pieces can go in the microwave and I don't think this is well communicated to the consumer. Since a lot of people heat up coffee and tea in the microwave, not making this very clear is a potential fire or burn hazard. I know metal can't go in the microwave, but it wouldn't have occurred to me that the gold band is actually metal. I didn't see this when I ordered or when I removed the cups from the box. I only noticed they can't go in the microwave when I returned to write my review and check the product photos.I will keep and use this set after I warn everyone in my family that they can't go in the microwave. However, I would not gift this set. I wouldn't want the recipient to think they received a set with a defect or for my gift to be the cause of a potential fire or burn hazard.

I got these to make my cappuccinos in using my espresso maker. I needed some cups that were short enough to fit underneath the espresso maker and were still coffee mug type cups. These fit the Bill and are very cute. I love that it’s a set and they are all similar but different. They’re all the same color and they have the same gold trim. However, the pattern is different on each of the cups and there’s a matching plate with the same kind of pattern. I like the pattern has aI needed some cups that were short enough to fit underneath the espresso maker and I wanted a set that had a couple of these short mugs that went together. This set fit the bill and as an added bonus they are very cute. I love that they are all similar but different. They’re all the same color and they have the same gold trim. However, the pattern is different on each of the cups and there’s a matching plate with the same kind of pattern. I like the pattern has a texture to it. It’s not just flat designs printed/painted on the cup, It’s actually raised and it’s very nice when you feel it in your hand as you’re drinking your morning coffee or tea
