don't need to replace rack that egages ignition so u end up paying for stuff u don't need and check to make sure included race fits over steering shaft.becausethe race shipped was not, I used my original race because I already installed bearings .and steering is stiff now and I think the new bearings are cause unhappy with product no instructions and some wrong size parts

Put these parts into place, easy enough. However when I could start the start the vehicle the key would not come out in the stop position. Or when the key would come out it wouldn't start. The sector gear did not have a secure fit on the key shaft. The old gear fit the shaft tightly so had to use it, works well now. Had no choice the vehicle had to be back in service!

Was just needing the bearings but this set was cheap enough and you got the added comfort of knowing the tilt column ignition actuator was replaced also while you had the column apart.

Used this on my Uncle's 78 Wagoneer. Fit good and easy to install. Took the play out of the Steering.

This item did not fit my vehicle correctly, but it was my fault. I have '84 CJ8 and thought this would work. They all look the same, but the bearing seemed to be off for me. I don't believe it was the parts fault, just the wrong item for me.
