Happy to see these after a delayed delivery. Just bought a snare drum with boring white strings! These brown strings go better with the brass rims and green shell. I hear they sell blue also! Is purple or red next?

Top quality and very effective snare cord . The spool allowed me to cut cord to my preferred length , rather than just the shorter pieces that some companies put out. Like the durability and ease of use with this cord as well , doesn’t fray quick and holds up

Achat de ce produit car les fils nylon d'origine sur ma caixa (caisse claire) ont cassé. Grâce à ceux-là j'ai pu tendre le timbre un peu qu'à l'origine afin d'avoir le rendu recherché. Un très bon achat

I love these cords, they are much better than the plastic straps. I feel that the snare has more even tension with the cords, than with the straps.

Works well for designed purpose of installing new snare units but is also very good to use for triangle clips.

I wanted to see what the difference was between the strings and Mylar straps. I like them both for sound, not much difference to my ear. I think they are a lot easier to thread through the connecters on the strainer and butt, but you have to learn the right way to thread them through the snare wire ends, or they hold the wires out of contact with the resonant head.

If you are looking for string for your vintage snare, or looking to give your snare a vintage look these are very nice. I like the black color as they will not start to look dingy over time. I used these on a vintage Trixon snare drum and they seem to be very strong. These are made in the USA to boot!
