Used this on a 24x12, heavy duty, double thick tarp. My ONLY regret, is that I didn’t buy a couple more, or a 4 pole set. They extend up and tighten very nicely. They felt very strong…and proved to be, given the 30+ mph winds we had, sitting on a hill on the open water of Rainy Lake!They extend out about/almost 8’ up. I love the removable rubber ball tip…it can either be used in a tarp loop with the ball easily removed (stayed attached so you won’t lose it, or put back on)…or, leave it on and use it in the middle for a center hoist, to help water drainage.I tied 550 cord on one end and secured to tree, tied off the side to trees and used these poles on the other end, and secured with 550 linear an outward angle…they held everything up great! (If I had gotten a few more, I would have used one on each middle side, and even a 5th as a peak extension in the center…ended up using a couple exiting hiking poles…not ideal).Love it, and definitely recommend…but if going big on the tarp…get a few extra! You won’t regret it!

Once you have the ropes ready it's an easy setup. Be sure to prepare your lines prior to setup.

Haven't used them yet however, I examined them on receipt and feel they're just what I need. Definitely easy to use and compact enough to be easy to transport. They seem sturdy.

Work great and sturdy. Used them on a road trip to Baja, which is known to be windy. The poles held up great even in high winds.

Fue a recent camping trip, I used 2 kayak paddles to elevate the tarp.I just got these today. The poles are sturdy, well constructed and easy to use.I took a picture of me sitting down on beach chairs, showing the height of my paddles, and another pic showing how tall these poles extend. I'm 5'4".

I used them to set up our camping. These work great to put up the tarp. I found these poles easy to adjust and pretty strong for holding up windy conditions. Tarp poles are worth the money. I was happy I purchased these. Will buy another.
